A modern reinterpretation of tigers and magpies in folk paintings during the Joseon Dynasty(1392-1897) was created as a one-of-a-kind product.

(1) Hozakdo, Mother-of-pearl, Hand Mirror

It has a folding double-sided mirror, and the lower part is made with a 1.5 times magnifying glass, so it can be used more practically.

(2) Hojakdo Princess Hand Mirror

It is a princess hand mirror made by applying epoxy to natural colored mother-of-pearl and features a colorful and luxurious design.

It is a light and sturdy product made of stainless steel and can store about 15 business cards with ample space.

How will mother-of-pearl products be made?
Shells raised from the deep sea take time and hold light to make them your one and only work.

1. It starts with the tip of a small brush.
2. Shells containing light, one by one, are carved by hand.
3. Carefully place the cut mother-of-pearl pieces according to the design.
4. Attach with a careful touch and coat to shine long.
